Small custom sleep sack

My own sweet babe (six weeks old today) agreed to model this sack.

This wool sleep sack is for a three-month old. Measurements are: 27 inches (69 cm) long, 17 inches (43 cm) around the top edge, and 16 inches (40 cm) along bottom edge. Special features include an extra layer of hidden wool (for increased warmth) and an upside-down zipper (separating zipper zips down from the top). The inside lining is soft red 100% merino wool. The hidden layer is 100% wool. The outside patches are also 100% wool (with exception of one of the gray pieces that is 85% wool 15% nylon).

Extra-large snap-front sleep sack

This large custom wool sleep sack is 42 inches long, my five-year-old can easily fit in it. The bottom edge is 20 inches across, and the top edge about 9 inches across. Amazingly I used only one sweater for the inside lining, a cream-colored XL men's soft merino wool sweater. The outside is patchworked solid colors. They are all pretty thick with a variety of textures. The closures are snaps all up the front, per customer request. Top ribbing is a soft red wool/angora blend.

Toasty Warm, Earth Tones

This wool sleep sack was requested to be very warm. It is one of the thickest I have ever made. The inside is lined with a soft brown 100% Alpaca sweater, with some bits of cream lambswool to fill in the gaps. I used some of the thickest pieces I could find (or double-layered some thinner pieces) to make the warm outer layer in earth tones. The sack is 32 inches long and 19 inches around the top edge. The bottom edge is 17 inches across.
